A-ROSA Golfclub Scharmützelsee
The A-ROSA Golfclub Scharmützelsee, just an hour’s drive south east of Berlin, is located directly at the lake Scharmützelsee. In addition to its beautiful hotel, 3 restaurants, 4.200 qm of SPA, a yachting academy and a tennis center it hosts 63-golf holes and won many titles like ‘Germany’s Leading Golf Resort’ at the World Travel Awards. Many high-profile championships, including the German Open and World Amateur Championships were played here and the resort represented Germany in the Ryder Cup bid 2022.
Its famous Faldo Course Berlin is a challenge, even for professionals. The highly unique links style course gained its name as Germany’s most demanding golf course thanks to its dune-like fairways and 135 typical Scottish pot bunkers.
The Arnold Palmer Course is designed for true enthusiasts with its large greens, varied fairways, streams and ancient woodlands – it’s the place where challenging golf and beautiful scenery meet.
The third 18-holer at the resort was designed by Stan Eby and opened for the Ladies German Open 2001. It offers the best views across the 300 hectares of the resort grounds and is a particular pleasure to play with an interesting combination of wide semi roughs, broad sand traps and cannily positioned water hazards.
