Golfclub Beuerberg and GolfResort Hardenberg strengthen German presence
In the eyes of the owners of the Golfclub Beuerberg especially, quality is a matter of attitude and joie de vivre just as much as it is of scrupulous caretaking of courses and establishments. Dr. Urs und Isolde Zondler view themselves as hosts of persons who have a sense for the quality of life and share the same values. Which is why they focus on hospitality and cuisine. The club has recently been nominated for the World Golf Award – enough testimony for the conditions of the golf course, maybe, but it also has repeatedly been voted as the most beautiful golf location in Germany.
Boasting with two 18-hole golf courses, the Hardenberg Golfresort enchants the player with its naturally undulating terrain and the peaceful agricultural backdrop of the former country estate Levershausen. In respect of the Earls of Hardenberg, the ‘Niedersachsen’ course encompasses an island green in the shape of a boars head as well as several natural hazards, a great canyon amongst them. The second ‘Göttingen’ course challenges the player with holes meandering up and down the estates’ luscious lands. It is the tougher course, demanding strategy and endurance due to the diverse layout and the course’s total length.
