REAL CLUB DE GOLF LAS BRISAS BACK NINE REOPENED

As reported by the Spanish online golf industry magazine, the back nine holes of Real Club de Golf Las Brisas have opened again and welcome members and visitors to enjoy Kyle Phillips’ work on the Robert Trent Jones Course.
The popular club had assigned the renowned golf architect with conceiving a complete overhaul that matches up to the demands of sophisticated players from all over the world without losing the characteristics of the original course. Understandably, the club management is proud of its roots, as not only Robert Trent Jones had put his mark on the holes: The English landscape designer Gerald Huggan had created a unique natural environment with plants and trees from all continents to compliment Jones’ intelligent layout.
So Kyle Phillips remodelled some of the holes including the water hazards, moved and elevated tees and relocated and added bunkers always respecting the general ideas of his predecessors. Now that the international course construction company Garden & Golf completed all the works and the greenkeepers did the necessary seeding, all of the lucky players that got to try it, were highly impressed by the challenge, quality and atmosphere of the new Las Brisas’ back nine.
